Holidays and Life Relationships

Today is Valentines Day 2011. I don't know everyone's opinion but I don't like how today has become really commercialized over the years, decades or however long it's been. Sure it is nice to give and receive gifts like flowers, candy, etc. but there is so much more to it. I have actually heard of businesses closing on this day every year because they recognize it as a national holiday. That is kind of ridiculous. Most days we celebrate through the year have some sort of religious or national aspect to it. What really gets me is that they (government) are trying to take away our religious holidays. Did you know they actually want to change the name of Christmas to wintermas so as not to offend anyone? I actually get offended when anyone tells me happy holidays. When someone says that to me, I think silently screw you and then say back to them Merry Christmas!! I don't care if someone gets offended by that but that is what that season is all about, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Hence the name CHRISTmas.

But anyway, holidays are a time for celebration and a time of togetherness. I don't really consider valentines day a holiday because a lot of people are alone and there is not much togetherness going on there. I was married for close to 9 years and my ex-wife and I spent the last 4 valentine days apart. But that was a personal choice. I hope that everyone who is married, has a boyfriend/girlfriend or any significant other are able to spend this day together at some point. Be thankful for whoever you have in your personal life. They chose to be with you for a reason no matter what that reason is. I just hope that one day I will find someone that makes me as happy as I know most of my friends are. She is out there and eventually God will put her in my path if He hasn't already and I just don't know it yet.

I have much love for all my friends and family and I know that I have been blessed by all of you who are in my life. You have each touched me and had some sort of impact on my life even if I just met you last year, last week, or yesterday. I have added 6 or 7 new friends or more on Facebook in the last 4 months mainly because of shows I have done at Sikeston Little Theatre. These people are great!!!

Jesus loves you all and so do I. Remember to celebrate the holidays for what they really mean and if you want to consider today a holiday, then more power to you! Much love to all!!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Lifestyle Change

I have decided it is time for me to make a lifestyle change. Ever since my divorce back in 2007, I have been on a rollercoaster of weight changes. Until recently it has been going in the bad direction of gaining. As a lot of you know, I am a Monavie distributor and earlier this month (January 5th) Monavie released their new weight management product called RVL (pronounced reveal). Being a distributor, I had the opportuntiy to get in on the pre-launch which started November 2. Since then my weight has been going one direction, down. I am more physically fit and my body is shaping up nicely. I have a before picture taken and I will not post it until I take my after picture when I reach my goal. I am not shy about saying that I need to tlose 40 to 45 pounds. People have looked at me and said I do not need to lose any weight but for my height, I am overweight. The way I wear my clothes tends to hide it but I know how I look and I want to change it to be more healthy one way and to stay active and fit.

I have started a workout regimen to add to this new change. I checked my weight the other day and it turns out I had gained a tiny bit. It was determined that I built muscle and that the weight gain was not a bad thing. My body fat has been decreased drastically and my energy level seems to improve each day. I sleep better and my outlook on life is very high and positive.

God has blessed me by putting the two people in my life who introduced me to Monavie. My entire life has drastically changed for the better since the day I started back in late 2007. He has assigned me to people to bless and I don't know who they are but I am sure He will lead them to me and me to them. I do not do the Monavie business to make money even though I do make money, I do it to help people get healthy and lead a higher quality of life.

I am looking to bless as many as possible with what God has provided through this industry. Someone said to me that if God wants me to do this, he will let me know. Think about this a minute, maybe God is letting you know by putting me in your path. I truly hope that if you want to turn your life around for the better, that you will get in contact with me and let me at least provide you with some information. Then after you look at the info, we can take it from ther based on you interest level. No where is too far for me to drive. All I need is an invite. All my contact info is on my facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/charlespalmer. You can also get a lot of info on my website: http://www.mymonavie.com/charlesp. Please check it out and get back to me. I promise that this will change your life, you will start living a more meaningful life. God Bless!!
